This newsletter was created for First Presbyterian Church of Thibodaux, Louisiana to serve as the second official document of the church. In the Presbyterian setting, the church is run by Elders and they meet once a month maybe more. They publish minutes of their meeting, hence the minutes is the first official document of the congregation. The newsletter accompanies the minutes in providing a broader history of the congregation.
